Vernon, CT --- November 16, 2012 ... What does it mean to be a Jew in today's world.
Particularly in Israel, where thousands of rockets, provided to Hamas in Gaza by Iran, have rained upon Israeli cities and towns for over 3 years. It means having a bulls eye on your back. Yet there has been no retaliation until now with the assassination of Hama's military commander in Gaza who was responsible for these attacks.
Israel has finally said: "ENOUGH!"
What would you do if the town in which you live were constantly attacked by rockets and missiles by your neighbor?
Israeli occupation of Gaza ended 7 years ago with a promise of peace.
There is no peace!
For the first time, rockets from Gaza today have indiscriminately fallen on the holy city of Jerusalem, the religious heart of Judaism and Christianity.
When is the world going to recognize that this is not only a Jewish fight for survival, but every one's as well?
Former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir said it clearly, "when the Arabs lay down their weapons, there will be peace; if the Israelis lay down theirs, there will be no Israel."
